Neurology Chiropractic Care

What is Neurology-Based Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is founded on the care and maintenance of the spine and nervous system. Remember your nervous system which includes the brain, the spinal cord, and all the nerve connections to every organ runs and governs everything that takes place in the human body.

The nervous system is the master control system, like a circuit board in your home, it is the “on/off” switch for your immune system, it regulates your blood pressure, it regulates your hormones, it controls your blood sugar levels, and all the organs involved in those processes.

With care, correction, and maintenance of the muscles, nerves, and skeletal system that make up the spine we can both reduce stress on your body and enhance function through a positive influence on the nervous system.

Simply put, when the spine is out of alignment or does not move properly it interferes with and negatively affects the master control system of your body which in turn negatively affects all other organ systems of the body leading to dysfunction and susceptibility to disease.

It is our goal at Wild Roots Wellness to get to know each individual patient who seeks care in our clinic so we can determine the causes of your structural, biochemical, and emotional stress that is affecting your health. We strive to treat each patient as a whole, addressing all aspects of your health to help you achieve the full potential of your body.

Final thought, Thomas A. Edison (1847-1931) once said: “The doctor of the future will give no medication but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” That’s what we aim to be for you and your family!

Dr Dale is trained and utilizes a wide variety of chiropractic techniques. Some of these are Thompson, Gonsted, Upper-cervical specific, Pettibon, Activator, Arthrostim, Diversified, CLEAR Scoliosis trained(level 2), and working toward his Functional Neurology Diplomat.

For analysis, he will usually incorporate palpation, range of motion, leg checks, xrays, posture analysis, blind-spot analysis, and a strong emphasis on patient history and response to prior chiropractic treatment if any has already been done. Depending on the patient’s health, goals, and history he may recommend lab work such at blood tests, hormone testing, digestive system or stool testing, allergy testing, metabolic testing, etc.

We want to see your health flourish in a truly natural way. It is through and from the ‘roots’ where you find the vibrance of the fruit (heath).
